MEET JEN LAFORTE:
Being a professional actor for almost 20 years, I’ve performed on stage at IO (formerly Improv Olympic) and Second City. I’ve done a lot of theater and film in Chicago and even had a national commercial for 5 Hour Energy running a few years ago. My quirky, funny, girl next door personality, landed me a supporting role, on Logo’s TV Movie, Jamie and Jessie Are Not Together. In 2016 I jumped behind the camera to associate produce and act in the web series Easy Abby which has over 1 million views on YouTube.
Over the past few years, I have built an e-commerce business in between my acting and raising children that has become empowering and lucrative. I’m working with the #1 skincare brand in North America and doing it right around my auditions and gigs. Its e-commerce based (the way everything is going) so I get to build a global business right from my phone/laptop. This excitement has spread through all areas of my life, including my acting and family. Becuase of all the recent success I’m expanding and looking for partners and other like-minded individuals who don’t want to sacrifice their creative side.
